Desire to Make a DifferenceOver the past 4 years, we have worked with more than 100 patients and trained more than 200 health professional and student volunteers. At CSM, we work hard to eliminate barriers to health and to provide learners and patients alike opportunities to teach, learn, and grow.

DedicationOur board at Chicago Street Medicine is an active board, meaning that in addition to monthly board meetings, our directors work on projects and serve on standing committees. Most of our board members dedicate an average of 3-5 hours per week to Chicago Street Medicine.

Director of Volunteers This is the point person for Chicago Street Medicine’s non-profit level volunteer training/information management. This includes the coordination of medical student volunteers, interdisciplinary professional student volunteers, resident volunteers, and attending physician volunteers. |
Director of Chapter Development This is the point person for Chicago Street Medicine’s chapter growth and development, including guiding the establishment and maintenance of administrative and operational systems. |
Director of Internal Policies and Procedures This is the point person for our internal policies and procedures, maintenance of existing and development of new policies and procedures and regular auditing the compliance of the organization |
Director of Fundraising This is the point person for our fundraising efforts, both through community donations and grants. |
